Increases in COVID are unrelated to Vaccination Levels
More vaccines don't equal less cases and Vice Versa
One of my good friends Heather, sent me this very interesting research paper looking at vaccination rates and cases across 68 countries and 2947 counties in the United States.
We have long been told that the key to ending Covid is to get “herd immunity” through mass vaccination programs. Currently vaccines are the primary (and really only…) strategy that the MEDICAL system uses to combat COVID.
The ongoing narrative has been that areas with low vaccination rates causes surges of new cases, especially here in the USA.
In this study, looking at the countries of the world, they actually found that there was a “marginally positive association” that countries with the higher percentage of people fully vaccinated, had higher COVID cases.
When comparing Iceland and Portugal (both 75% fully vaxxed countries) to Vietnam and South Africa (10% fully vaxxed), it was found that Portugal and Iceland had more COVID!
US countywise, it showed that the top 5 counties with the highest % of fully v’d people, the CDC identified 4 of them and “high” transmission counties. 57 Counties that have been classified as “low” transmission counties, 15 of those had less than 20% of their population fully vaccinated.
Here was their summary:
I agree with their conclusions
